Many hills to climb, the region is divided into lower and higher area, the higher area reaching nearly 1500 m. Often the climb starts at near sea level, so be warned it still can get tough.
Many vineyards and wine producers in the region, all villages are small and charming , offering great food and wine of course.
Elaborated walking routes system exist.
