La Forteleza
Santa Lucia de Tirajana, Gran Canaria – visited April 2010.
After a superb walk starting from the centre of Santa Lucia and through the Baranco de Tirajana, a ravine with wonderfull vegetation like cactus, aloe vera and palm trees, you reach a small lake and further on the rock called ‘the fortress’ .
The place was inhabited by the indigenious people, and you can visit a cave in this mountain.
